OF COURSE: Mainstream Pundits Ignore Black Women Until The Economy Crashes

The Rep. Ayanna Pressley reports:

When Black women warn that the economic floor is collapsing, corporate cheerleaders and mainstream pundits pretend everything is fine. Now the latest BLS numbers prove what we already knew: pushing Black women out of the workforce is a direct threat to all working people.

When hundreds of thousands of Black women were pushed out of the workforce last year, we warned of the impact on our economy. BLS reporting shows we lost 23k jobs in July. Black women have long been the canaries in the coal mine but ALL workers stand to be harmed. We must act.
