Sage Steele is back on her endless grievance tour, completely flabbergasted that Doc Rivers doesn’t want MAGA bootlicking anywhere near his personal phone contacts. Imagine being genuinely shocked when Black sports legends decide to set basic boundaries against political sellouts.
Recently-inducted Hall of Fame NBA coach Doc Rivers does not like being close friends with people who support Donald Trump. That is at least how former ESPN host Sage Steele sees it, claiming Rivers ended their decades-long friendship, called her an idiot, and blocked her number because of her conservative political views.
Doc Rivers blocking Sage Steele isn’t political censorship; it’s basic hygiene. We only wish the rest of media would follow his lead.
